What is Ledger®?
Ledger® is the desktop interface designed to work with Ledger hardware wallets (such as the Ledger Nano S Plus and Ledger Nano X). It provides a secure, user-friendly environment to manage multiple cryptocurrencies without exposing your seed phrase or private keys.
Ledger wallet & hardware wallet
To use Ledger®, you first need a Ledger hardware wallet. The device holds your private keys offline; Ledger® communicates with your device via USB or Bluetooth to sign transactions safely. For device options and official purchases, visit the Ledger Store on Ledger.com.
Setup & Login
Begin at Ledger.com/start. Follow the step-by-step setup: initialize your hardware wallet, write down your recovery phrase, then open Ledger® to add accounts. If you encounter issues with Ledger Live Login or device connection, the official Support Center has troubleshooting articles.
Extensions & Browser Integration
Some workflows use a Ledger Wallet Extension or browser integrations to connect decentralized apps (dApps). Always use official extensions and confirm links before connecting. Learn more in Ledger's support pages.
